Coffee Shop Brews Up Opportunities for People With Disabilities

 In Uncategorized

When the doors to Whole Latte Love open, our nonprofit café will support approximately 12 disabled employees and 35 volunteers. Our mission is to help disabled individuals develop the skills necessary to join the workforce in an environment where they’re fully supported.

Widespread news coverage from various media outlets has helped boost awareness. But we’re still working toward our goal of raising $200,000 to renovate our space, which was last used as a cosmetology school some 20 years ago.

“People with disabilities are very employable; they just need to be given a chance,” said founder Beth Humbert.
