My older brother, Adam, had meningitis as a baby and is multi handicapped. He is 33 years old and lives with my family. Since we were kids I have always been very involved with Adam and the special needs community including being a CYO Sumfun (a camp for kids with special needs) counselor and helping with Superkids (Soapbox Derby racing for kids with special needs). Over the years, I worked with different organizations to partner with programs like Hattie Larlam on projects such as stuffing Easter eggs for the North Canton Jaycees Easter Egg Hunt to help others like my brother to have an opportunity to be more involved in the community.
