Rick Fisher has resided in North Canton all of his life. He and his wife, Mary Ann, are parents to two children and nine grandchildren.
Rick is a retired Vice President of Hilscher-Clarke Electric Company and has been blessed with the opportunity to serve with many community organizations including Pegasus Farm (an equestrian therapeutic program for children and adults), The Canton Museum of Art, The United Way, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and North Canton Youth Football. Rick is a lifetime member of Zion United Church of Christ where he has served as Deacon and Elder.
Rick’s eldest brother was born with developmental disabilities. He lived a long life of accomplishments because of his “never quit” attitude. He was a part of a loving family and an inclusive community. He taught us that there was great ability in a perceived disability and to never miss the opportunity to help our brothers and sisters. To quote President Ronald Reagan: ” We can’t help everyone, but everyone can help someone”.
