A Letter to Our Friends: COVID-19
A Letter to Our Friends:
The COVID-19 pandemic has profoundly impacted our nation, the state of Ohio, and everyone in Stark County, including North Canton.
That’s why we’re taking a moment to let you know that—due to the significant disruption caused by the coronavirus—the Whole Latte Love Café board of directors has decided to postpone the café opening until 2021.
The landscape for many American businesses has shifted, and the uncertainty surrounding the reopening of our state may not yield favorably to opening a new business during these challenging times.
But rest assured, the only thing that’s changed is our timing! Our passion is still strong, and our work continues.
Our mission remains to bring an inclusive destination coffee shop to North Canton while providing vocational support to those in our community with developmental disabilities.
In deciding the path forward, our primary consideration is the health and well-being of our community and those we serve. We are using this time to engage with experts, examine our priorities, build infrastructure, and design practices that align with Responsible RestartOhio.
As our work continues, so does our need for your support. Please visit our website to learn how you can help us accomplish our mission.
With warm regards,
Beth A. Humbert, M. Ed., CRC, CESP
