We are weeks away from celebrating our SECOND YEAR in business and we wouldn’t be where we are today, without our amazing customers!!

Because of your support, we have been able to hire and train an additional 16 people with disabilities since last year.

GivingTuesday is a global giving movement with a local impact. We have an opportunity to use the power of generosity to fuel more connections, understanding, and collective action and it’s right around the corner.

On November 28th, join us as we continue to change the lens and raise awareness about inclusion in the workplace!

This Mission Moment is brought to you by Andy

Every October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month and to celebrate all that we have achieved thus far, we are highlighting Andy!

Andy started working at the café in June 2022. Since that time, we have observed his confidence improve and his work readiness goals escalate. As much as we will miss working with him, we are super excited to announce Andy is ready to start a new chapter. He is headed off to competitive employment and we are following him to Shirley’s Diner to ensure a smooth transition into his new role as their busser / dishwasher.

Andy shared how much he has enjoyed working at the café and the new friendships he formed. Next time you find yourself in the Belden Village area, stop by Shirley’s Diner, located at 4400 Belden Village Ave and let Andy know he’s doing a great job!!
